Date Night

Last night, Steve and I had a special date night. We went to the temple together for the first time. I know, we probably should have gone before now, but time just gets away from you. It was a wonderful night. We went to the Bountiful Temple. I hadn't been to the Bountiful Temple since Dean and Sarah's wedding...which has almost been 2 years! Steve had never been to the Bountiful Temple. He looked very handsome. I'm truly blessed to have him in my life. He treats me so well and is constantly wanting to make me happy.

After the temple session, we had dinner at the yummy El Matador! Steve and I both love Mexican food...it was sooo good! Steve, thanks for taking me to the temple and planning a great date night!

Engagement Pics

Steve and I had our engagement pictures taken June 9th. It was a fun time - Steve was a good sport. We just got them back from our photographer. Dan was awesome and did a great job! Here are a few samples...

Zoey's Dance Performance

I went with my mom to watch Zoey's dance performance tonight. It is so fun to watch her. She is only 3 but she acts fearless on stage. She doesn't always do everything the rest of her group does but she is learning. She looked beautiful tonight!

Zoey Loves Dumbo!

Last week Jenny asked me if I could pick up Zoey from her babysitter's because she was stuck at work. I brought her over to my place for a little while and we watched Dumbo...I think it is her new favorite movie. Here is a little video of her singing and dancing to the movie. Now Jenn tells me she acts the whole movie out. I love when she dances like an elephant...just ignore my commentary!

Zoey is such an amazing girl. I'm so lucky to be her aunt and am so grateful to be able to be a part of her life. It is wonderful to live so close to her, Jenn & Ben and be able to drop in and see them whenever I want. She is absolutely beautiful and has the sweetest little personality.

Wedding Plans

Our wedding plans are moving along. I've been able to check a few things off the list over the past few days. I went shopping for my dress on Saturday. It was fun to be with Jenny, Zoey, Sarah and my mom. We drove down to Provo where I found my dress. I was so nervous to look, excited but nervous. I was just sure that I wouldn't find anything I loved...but quite the opposite. I had the hardest time deciding between 2 dresses. I finally made a decision and am so in love with it. I can't wait for the day to be here! Tonight, Steve and I had our Engagement pictures done...that was a relief, especially for Steve. I know guys hate pictures, but Steve was a good sport and we ended up having a fun time. I am anxious to get them back and see how they look. Our photographer is great and we should have quite a few good shots to choose from. It feels so good to start crossing some things off my list!
