Jake & Daddy

Jake loves his Daddy so much......and so do I!  Can't help but to feel overwhelming blessed for these two in my life.

Jake's 9-month Stats

Our Jakey continues to grow and develop perfectly.  He amazes me every day.  He is SO funny and SO happy most of the time.  He loves to laugh - he must have a hilarious mom and dad :)  His 9-month visit was last week and here are his stats.  So grateful for a strong, healthy, happy, adorable baby boy.

• Weight:  21 lbs 1 oz - 58%
• Height:  28.5 inches - 58%
• Head Circumference:  19.5 inches - 100%!!

Yep, he's got a big noggin'!  He is PERFECT in every sense of the word!  Can't imagine our lives without him in it - certainly continues to be our Miracle!

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was beautiful. We got nice, comfortable weather in Utah. Jake looked so handsome in his new duds. And I even got a new dress (haven't purchased myself new clothes for quite sometime!). We attended our church meetings and then had an afternoon of fun. We spent the evening at my Grandparents home in Bountiful. The kids had a little Easter hunt and the Easter Bunny (aka, Grandma) spoiled Jake to death. She got all of the kids cowboy hats - unfortunately, due to Jake's large noggin', his was too small. But it was such a cute idea. He loved (and continues to love) the John Deere lawnmower. He plays with it tipped over - excited for him to be up pushing it while he walks!

Easter Saturday

Because I have a small fettish with purchasing the cutest little boy clothes ever...I couldn't decide on an Easter outfit - Sooo, I got two! Luckily, we went to a baptism the Saturday before Easter for my good friend Jenn's son Isaak. I snapped some shots of him after the baptism playing with Lola, as always!

Bath Time

Jake still loves bath time! He gets so excited every time we start the water. Of course we have some fun bath toys for him, but all he wants to do is play with the wash-rag. He is the cutest thing ever!

Cry Baby

Because it doesn't happen very often - I just had to snap a few shots when Jake was just having a bad day. Think he is working on some teeth. He was just not having it!

St. Patty's Day

Here are some pictures of Jake on St. Patty's Day. He wore this adorable onesie "Kiss me I'm Irish". He loves laying on the recliner and looking out the window. Now that it is getting warm he is going to love being outside more.

Sick Baby Jakey

Even when he has a temp of 103, he tries to find a smile :( In early March, Jake got sick for the first time...at least sick enough that it bothered the Mama a lot! We actually ended up taking him to Primary ER in the middle of the night because his temp got so high it scared me. It took almost a week and a follow-up visit to his pediatrician to get him better. It was a long, sleepless week. So sad having sick babies - definitely the worst part about being a parent. He ended up with a double ear infection and RSV. Luckily, he never needed to be in the hospital. The antibiotics for his ears seemed to instantly work and he improved quickly after that. We mostly wore jammies that week - here are a few pics of Jake. Love how he is trying to look over Lola at the TV, LOL!
